Kudos to the developer who actually removed (rather than added) IAPs!! This is a terrific match 3 game that is entertaining and challenging. I would love to see (and pay premium for) a Pixel Defenders 2. :)

I dont often rate games, but Im loving this so far. Love the concept. If you liked Triple Town youll like the twist this game brings!

After playing Triple Town, this is exactly the kind of game I hoped to find that adds much more depth to the basic match 3 gameplay

One of the most polished and addictive strategy games on the iphone. It doesnt fall into the same formula as other match 3 games, so you need to rethink your tactics.

This is how games should be made: An initial fee but no in app purchases. Classic 8 bit graphics and gameplay that will last you ages. I never ever play games with complex instructions but trust me, this one is worth learning how to play. If I could play only 1 game in my phone, this is it. Well done!!!!!!

Im not really a fan of puzzle games but this has really captivated me. There is a lot more depth to this title than typical puzzle games and it really keeps you thinking as you play

What more to say? Love the gameplay, love the graphics, LOVE the music, and now with an endless assault mode I can delete the original and never look back!

It is a challenging game, requiring rational approach, thinking strategically, analysis of risks, etc. Great game for everyone who likes an intellectual challenge once in a while.

Playing on a iPad 2 and the game is frozen on the first screen loading. Ive done a fresh restart, have no other apps open and even un and reinstalled it after a fresh restart with nothing open and it still doesnt work. Going to try and get a refund. Avoid this.

Starts out fun, but quickly the battles get monotonous and the fun factor is lost. All the angles and upgrades to troops take a lot of planning, may be just me but after a while there was little interest to see the next level or upgrade to troops. Lack of iapp was very refreshing though, and an interesting concept. Just didnt grab me enough to want to continue playing

If you like RPGs and puzzles, this game is amazing. And no iap is refreshing...thanks developers!

Love the game and the pixel graphics to go along. Very addicting and I play it all the time. Good game for filling in time because you can pick up right where you left off. I would give it 5 stars but the game just got stuck in a loop and I cant finish a level, restart, end, or even lose the level. I will have to reinstall. All in all its a great game!!!
