Pixel Defenders Puzzle App Reviews

This a great game -imagine the matching gameplay of Triple Town with the fun of all your units being able to shoot the bad guys. Plus unlike TT... you can move your units. You dont have to be a wiz to keep building up the units. fantastic!

I actually downloaded this game about a year ago and never played it. Today I redownloaded it looking for a cool pixel rpg, and this game is WONDERFUL!!!! God where to begin... The graphics are beautiful pixel sprites and backgrounds, the music is just incredible, and the animations are so entertaining to watch that I cant wait to get a new unit to attack so I can see the cool new attack animation!! Reminds me of old school MS-DOS Battle Chess in that regard! An incredible addition to any pixel and/or rpg lovers game collection. I would happily pay decent money for a console version... An SNES port would be a dream come true

Its a great game, just it glitches a lot and I have to restart the game. I have an iPod 5 the newest version. Is this normal or what???

There are so many layers to this game! Its simple to learn but in no way is this your typical match 3. I love this game and highly recommend it to anyone who wants something unique to the puzzle strategy genre.

almost flawless, but there doesnt seem to be a way to sync progress between iOS devices. which probably is for the best.. I would be playing on my phone everywhere -instead of on my iPad, almost everywhere.

Lots of content and a great game

This is an awesome take on the Triple Town formula, mixed with RPG and battle elements. Highly polished and addictive, no consumable IAPs, and an awesome new expansion that features 40 new levels for just $2! Highly recommended.

Thoughtful combination of elements from different genres, different characters with thoughtfully-formulated abilities are very creative! The "action point" systemis brilliant and makes possible the opportunity to move pieces (which you cannot do in most matching games) at the expense of being able to take action with those pieces--brilliant!

The game was always great but the new update is really great. New units and levels would make it great on its own, but the new shadow mode is a simple addition that adds a ton of depth and changes the strategy in brilliant ways. 5 stars all the way.

Want the ability to pick up progress on my iPhone

Im not one to usually write reviews but I had to make an exception for this one. Its hard to believe that a game this well made with this much depth is only $0.99 (for the base game). I cant express enough how enjoyable this game is. The puzzles start out easy enough that you can pick up some of the basic strategies but ramp in difficulty quickly. One of my favorite things is that not only is this a good "in line at the store" type of game, but also a game I can sit down and play for an hour without it feeling repetitive. Congrats to the developers for producing such a lovely game that has a permanent place on my first screen! And seriously, I would have payed 5-10 dollars easily for a game of this quality.

The game is great as it is, but all I ask is you to make a save button for endless mode or any puzzle really...
